There are many organisations in Greenwich that offer support to parents and carers of adults and older children with learning difficulties. We have listed the most notable ones here.
Dare to Hope
”Arise, Emerge, Shine”
This is a community-driven, non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering families of people with autism and associated complex needs. Directed by founder Edithe Temiato Feulefack, Dare to Hope is able to provide advice, family support and signposting. Not limited to the UK, this pioneering group has also been doing amazing work raising awareness of autism in the Cameroon and throughout the world. Edithe also has a dual role as Treasurer and Committee Member of the Carers Social Group. Her work for us involves representing carers at council and health authority meetings to make sure our views and experiences count in decision making.
